Fables, Vol. 7: Arabian Nights by Bill Willingham

3.0

Here's the mediocre volume. In this one we have Arabian fables for the first time and I have no idea how to feel about it. It's uncomfortable.

The end is about two of Grupetto's puppets who want to be made real and it's pretty meh. The only things I found interesting in this volume were the idea of genies, and the fact that King Cole was actually good at his job. You could basically cut the rest and I wouldn't miss it.

But I think it's setting up a few things that will come into play later, like the existence of genies, so hopefully things will pick back up after this.
