Strong character development:
Yes
Loveable characters:
Yes

Themes:
High School
Cheerleaders
Basketball / Jocks
Robotics Team
Humour
Unlikely Friendships
A character-driven high school story about Cheerleaders, the Robotics Team and a Jock teaming up to raise funds for their school teams.
Another Faith Erin Hicks creation to tick off my list. This one was a lot of fun! I loved the character-driven narrative, lots of humour, loved seeing each high school stereotype with a twist. The comebacks / quick quips were so unrealistic (no one would say these things out loud / to their parents teachers etc.) but it was funny for sure.
A quick read. I read the 2023 version of this and since I know Faith Erin Hicks is re-publishing some of their works, I wonder if there’s many differences to the original publication.
