The Wildflower
by J.L. Beck
The Wildflower is the conclusion to Drew and Bel's story and picks up right after the cliffhanger in the first book. I actually enjoyed Drew a lot more in this one and I loved how hard he pursued Bel. He did his own version of groveling, because he is a little too psycho and alpha to do the sweet type of groveling. Bel comes into her own in this book and finally starts standing up for herself. I really liked her relationship with her new brother, Sebastian.
I do think this book was a little too long and the pacing felt off. Some of the scenes were repetitive and I was getting a little bored. I was confused with all the questions on who their parents were, but that was all answered in the end. I did think it was obvious what Drew's father was doing to his mother.
This book was very spicy and took things to another level, especially with the punishment Bel gets.
I am very excited for Sebastian's book, and he has really interested me since The Wallflower.
