And let me tell you, Ryan definitely does it for me :)

Ryan is used to the finer things in life. Growing up in an influential family, Ryan must strive for perfection. He is not only expected to associate with those of the same social class, but he is also expected to date woman of the same caliber.
..But things change when he meets Danny.

Danny is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks. She has purple hair and a piercings and most of all, she does not come from an influential family. Penniless and parent-less, Danny works 2 jobs, goes to school and has put her passion for playing the violin on the back burner. While many people in her predicament would be bitter and unhappy, she is optimistic and so very kind. I immediately connected with Danny. She wears her heart on her sleeve.
From the very beginning, the attraction between Ryan and Danny is off the charts.
As their relationship progresses and they start falling in love, they face backlash from Ryan's ex-girlfriend Angeline, his slimeball teammate Reece, and his cold, manipulative mother.
The problems Danny and Ryan face because they are from two different worlds struck a cord with me. On a more personal note, I have had my own fair share of disapproval from own boyfriend's mother. I have had to deal with the scathing looks, horrible words and the pain that follows. To read what Danny and Ryan have to go through to be together helped me to feel less alone in my own situation. As a reader, it is so gratifying to find yourself in the pages of the story your reading.
Ryan is beyond swoon-worthy. He is the perfect mix of strong, and protective, mixed with incredibly sweet and generous. And Danny is beyond selfless, brave and likeable. These two have quickly become one of my favorite couples of the year. They are the perfect example of opposites attracting, and complimenting one another.
If your looking to read a book about two amazing people fighting the odds stacked against them, Off Sides is the book for you. It is incredible sexy, sweet and so very romantic. The characters are extremely well written, the plot is realistic and the feeling of hope resonates long after the pages have turned.
