3.5 to 3.75 ⭐️ This was entertaining but also chaotic.  I was confused for a good chunk of this book (middle), but the ending made it worth it.  Although, it did feel like it wrapped up too quickly (given all that was going on for most of the book). In general, I think the book had too many subplots or story components. Many grabbed my interest but then were never fully explored.  The main characters, Tess and Justin, felt a touch dry. With Tess, the one character trait we did see throughout the book was really not necessary (didn't drive the plot forward at all). I honestly liked the side characters (Danny and Eliza) more despite the fact they had less time.
