A very enjoyable piece of fantasy fluff told through the interesting device of letters.  I love novels in the Regency period, and the fact this particular Regency setting had magic in the mix added a whole lot of extra sparkle.

For fans of Diana Wynne Jones’s Chrestomanci series - this story has a similar flavour and I would definitely recommend checking it out.
