After absolutely adoring ACCIDENTAL ATTACHMENT, I couldnโ€™t pick another Max Monroe read quick enough. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ This was the last of the four Winslow brothers series but the first of the series Iโ€™ve read, so can definitely be enjoyed as a stand-alone, though I am now going back to listen to the other three!

Witty, heartwarming, sweet, funny; this was another super fun + engaging romance read with the added twist of Maria raising a baby thatโ€™s not biologically hers. I honestly loved this storyline from the first sentence to the last. The characterisation of Maria and Remy was PERFECTIONโ€” Maria was kick-ass, independent and funny, whilst Remy was a big softie underneath his brooding, bachelor exterior, and the chemistry and spark between them was FLAWLESS. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿผ

The close family dynamics + banter between the four brothers was written so well, and I get the feeling the friendship between them is a central part of this seriesโ€™ plot. All the characters have such a warm, relatable feel to them that you canโ€™t help being drawn to, and I adored every side character in this almost as much as Ria, Remy and baby Izzy (who was, letโ€™s be honest, the star of the show) ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever read a romance where a newborn is such an integral part of the story and, currently being the broodiest human on the planet, I LOVED it.

I really canโ€™t recommend this author duo enough ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ
