Silent in the Sanctuary
by Deanna Raybourn
The world of Lady Julia Grey expands a little as our heroine finds herself in a murder mystery in her family's estate. It's been six months since the first book—which I appreciate because it gives some space and time for feelings and characters to evolve (and for Lady Julia to deal with mourning her husband a little more). Nicholas Brisbane continues to be smoldering, and naturally the two of them are pulled into an investigation that has many, many, twists and turns. A totally fun read.
