I knew I was gonna like this book because it has everything I love.

What I didn't expect was to love it so much. Wren is such a sweet and innocent soul with so much kindness, usually I hate that in my FMC but in this book it just worked. She wasn't the type of innocent I found annoying, it felt real and you understood her story and pain.
When Wrens first mate rejects her and she is banished she is then given the special mark to attend Fate Hollow Academy, joining her best friend Thorn they start this journey together. Wren then meets all these men that she can't help but be drawn to and they can't help but feel the same pull. In this world there are mate bonds but they don't always snap into place immediately, they come when the fates decide.
If you need another reason to read this book other than the magic academy I have 7.

This story was good and the first book was spent meeting the characters, and introducing us to this community. There was some action but I feel like the next books will have more. I love that humans are the enemies and I cannot wait for Wren to grow into her own and become a complete and utter badass.
