Not Ms Rose's best foot forward (I knew immediately what the twist would be, which is unusual for me, reading one of hers), but still a great story that takes the reader on a great ride. In the epilogue, I did find it quite far fetched that

Beth and Lucas end up together and adopt a child. Seriously> Lucas marries the sister of the man who killed his sister? Um, okay
