That was deranged and chaotic. 

I have to say, my experience with this book was very bizarre. I don’t think I ever hated a main character as much as this woman, but it was a weird situation where I loved to hate her. Very bizarre to explain this. 

She was despicable, unreliable, sometimes abject, and I couldn’t summon an ounce of sympathy for her. But I was enthralled by the story, and I needed to know how this absurd situation would unfold. I was surprised more than once by the twists, and really didn’t see this ending coming. 

This was a sordid story, full of revenge and feminine rage, but a lot of fun.
