So when I started this book, I hated the format. I hate the storyline they were taking it. I absolutely hated “whoa is me” Albus Potter. Then, part 2 started. I got used to the play format. I got into the story. By part 3, I was hooked and finished the whole book in less than 24 hours.
I’m still not sold on everything they did. I certainly couldn’t get used to Draco and Potter being civil to one another. But I loved Scorpius Malfoy. I loved his love for Rose. I loved the webs of crazy they brought into the story line. And I ended up loving the darn book. I just didn’t buy into the play format as a book.
