Kiss the Bride by Jody Wallace

4.0

This book was a fun read. I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline. Heck is his best friend's maid of honor though he wasn't too sure about doing it. Caroline is struggling with feelings for her best friend and believes that he only sees her as a sister so when asked she agrees to marry her boyfriend. Heck is very unhappy about this. He doesn't like the boyfriend and thinks that this is a bad idea. He speaks up quite loudly about his disagreement to Caroline while also helping her out and supporting her. Heck is totally out of his comfort zone in this book as he tries to show that Caroline's boyfriend is wrong for her and that she shouldn't marry him.
I really enjoyed the characters in this story. They were funny and watching Heck figure out his feelings was very enjoyable. He had no idea why he disliked all of her boyfriends. Heck is man's man and so watching him in the wedding world was hilarious. He was the one planning and checking things out with Caroline and it was very entertaining. I laughed in this book fairly often and there were some twists that I wasn't expecting when I started out. This is just a fun, enjoyable read to sit back and relax with.
