I loved the characters, Kazi is a strong female, with a tragic past, bent on making up for previous indiscretions and bound to find a war criminal for her queen; Jase is the new leader of his family and realm, with the weight of the world on his shoulders. After a fantastic meet-cute, Kazi and Jase are forced to rely on each other for survival. Tensions and heat collide until the duo is back in Jase's kingdom and its back to business for Kazi. But their time together is hard to forget and the feelings keep growing even while the secrets pile up.
Surprise after surprise finally shed light on some big issues and the two must decide whether to follow duty or their hearts.
The ending actually surprised me a bit and I'll definitely me reading the sequel.
