• THOUGHTS:
Owen is the sweetest thing ever!!! The level of connection he has with Lila is so freaking cute. He is tentative and observant. He just seems to click with Lila, and honestly, the same can be described for Lila. She notices all of Owen, see's hinlm for who he is. They almost speak the same language they are so in sync with one another. The kindness and thoughtfulness that is Owen jist makes you go "aaawwwww." Lila is strong and driven and has shown a level of maturity that you see with people who had to learn some hard lessons. Which is one of the reasons why Owen is good for her. The small town is rough on Lila, but she is able to just be her. I know I already said it. But seriously, the devotion Owen shows is so dang sweet. This lumber jack hottie is a true book boyfriend.
I am really curious about all the brothers and can't wait to dive into this family! CAUGHT IN THE AXE was a great start for a new series.

Mollie, man, she is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I love her voice so much, and she is able to capture Lila perfectly! Lila's attitude and who she is as a person. She does it flawlessly. Pair her with the deep growly Aiden Snow, and it's a match made in heaven. I think Aiden plays an older, needy guy just great! I really loved both of them in this duet style book! It's one I would highly recommend. Bravo!
