It was okay. The art is really pretty. I kinda wish they devopled the characters but that doesn't bother me that much. I will say though I was a little scared to read this because of reviews I read. They were very passionate and the concern expressed that the princesses were being mean to a prince they met for not being like a conventional prince as in he was weak. And while I'm all for girl power hearing that this book might put down guys for not being masculine is a turn off.
However, after finishing the story I feel like people were overreacting. Like I don't see it. Maybe if you squinted cause one of the princesses makes like 2 or 3 small jabs at the prince. But I really don't think they were that mean to the prince. I do wish they were a little more sympathetic towards the prince but I would never say they were cruel to him. Though one thing slightly confused meThere's like a campfire scene where the prince expresses the pressures of being a prince and the princesses says that she understand but that he shouldn't take it out on them and not once did he do that so like sis when???
