I was fully expecting a sob fest of a book based on the plot and while it didn’t trigger the exact emotional response, regardless I loved this book. It’s tender and bittersweet, with writing that reminders me of Nina LaCour’s. It’s a small town, Sapphic romance that will resonate with so many different readers in the way it discusses love, identity, and growing up.
