FBI Special Agent Evan McGarry and his K-9 partner, Blue, uncover a lead on missing children, including Evan’s long-lost sister. Marlie Foxe, a hospital custodian with a heartbreaking past, becomes vital to Evan's investigation when a missing boy forms a special connection with her. As they work together, their chemistry sizzles, and they uncover a dangerous cult targeting runaways. The story beautifully explores guilt, grief, and healing while keeping you on the edge of your seat with suspense. O'Fallon delivers well-developed characters, a gripping plot, and a few surprises. A must-read for fans of romantic suspense.
