📌“I’m the husband. I don’t know who you are, but touch my wife again and I’ll break your f hand.”

📌 “Looking back, I don’t think I was desperate to stay in Scotland just for Scotland. I think somehow my soul knew that the missing piece of me was here. In Jared. So I’d done whatever it took to stay. To find it. To find him.”

Okay. Wait. Before we review this. Please check up on me. I’m unwell. That post-book notes from Samantha Young. Why, Samantha? I. No. I was invested. My heart is breaking. Why? Are they hurting? Are my babies okay? Second chance, Samantha?! Second chance?! Are you kidding me?! That’s just my favorite. MY FAVORITE. But also, are they fine?! Because I’m not fine. I already love them so much. 😭 thank you. THANK YOU! I’m already feeling all the feels. I’m not okay knowing I won’t get to read this next book anytime soon😭

Okay. It’s fine. I’m recovered. Mostly. Let’s get back to this brooding of a man named Jared, our new favorite reformed playboy. — Get lost Ursula. — And our beautiful soul named Allegra. I’ve been dreaming of their book ever since they met *five years ago.* The chemistry then was insane. And it only got better with time 😜

I do love anything fake dating/marriage of convenience. Specially when we get a “that’s my wife” moment. You can’t beat that. You just can’t.

I didn’t see the twisty ending. Major extra points for that 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

If you haven’t visit the Highlands, do it now. This series is pure brilliance and I can’t wait for the next book. No, seriously… I can’t. I’m desperate here 😱
