City of Ghosts by V.E. Schwab, V.E. Schwab

Cassidy Blake almost died and ever since has been able to pull back the veil between the living and the dead. Not only can she see ghosts, but her best friend is a ghost and her parents are historians with a ghostly twist.
As a fan of both ghost-focused stories and middle-grade, I was very excited to read City of Ghosts.

I cannot wait to read more about Cass' ghostly adventures so I am eagerly awaiting the release of[b:Tunnel of Bones|43876229|Tunnel of Bones (Cassidy Blake, #2)|Victoria Schwab|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1549485136s/43876229.jpg|61012701] which will take place in the underground Catacombs of Paris!
