This is one of the best thrillers I have ever read!
Ask for Andrea is told from the POVs of three murder victims who end up as ghosts haunting their killer and keeping watch on his whereabouts and family. And it was executed perfectly!! This honestly exceeded my expectations.
I thought that including how these three girls became ghosts was very clever and much needed so the reader will understand that these POVs are from unalived people.
I especially enjoyed how our first victim Brecia stayed with the killer's -James- family pretty much 24/7 and went on James's dates to see just how horrible of a man he is. The author did a fantastic job at making me hate James. "Hate" isn't even a strong enough word.
It was super interesting to see how James devolved over time. He was falling apart and I loved every second of that. I was rooting for James's wife April and their kids the whole time. Even when April frustrated me, I couldn't help but feel sympathy for her since she was clearly in an abusive and toxic marriage.
The more things were revealed, the better the story became. The ending blew my mind and it was so satisfying.
If you're looking for a super quick and engrossing read, this is definitely one to try! Especially if you're a thriller lover.
