I’m so excited to get official lore drops for Sleep Token in a graphic novel form.
The art direction is pretty good, and seems like it is prequel material for TMBTE and the lore for the entities. There is a “lunar anomaly” that wipes out humanity, and no one can look at the moon without eldritch horrors occurring.
There is little in the way of writing, except for entires by “The Director”. He seems like a scientist, leader of some kind for humanities last stand.
I don’t consider this perfect, as I would have like some dialogue or more in the way of text in between the entries, but it does align with the bands way of staying silent on stage except for the interlude lore drops from Sleep/TMBTE presence in the shows.
I’ll spoiler this: the ending does have a cipher hidden in it with the TMBTE alphabet substitution .
