<b>Summary</b>
It has been ten years since Sydney’s ex-boyfriend was arrested under suspicions of being a serial killer. Ten years of her trying to remember any clues that may help her lead investigators to other bodies he had dumped in national parks that he loved to take hikes through with Sydney. When a new neighbor moves in, her new friendship helps her push through the walls that have been constraining her and preventing her from living her life and no longer being another victim or her ex.
<b>Review</b>
This book was far more about Sydney’s trauma than about a new relationship so if you’re looking for romance, this isn’t necessarily a top choice. There is, however, a lot of growth, mental fortitude, and effort toward finding what happiness means. It was a suspenseful book and I hated how people were against her, but it helped the plot and made it better. A nice, crime-focused story.
