We Can't Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon

4.0

This book was really sweet but at the same time hard-hitting. Solomon did a fantastic job tackling a handful of tough topics, but especially mental health and family trauma, and how they often come hand-in-hand.

The importance of family and how your family can impact your decision making was definitely my favorite part of the book. I loved how realistic the family dynamics were because this book shows how you can love your family but it is not always easy or perfect. That you can feel separate and how your family may not realize that fact or how their actions have impacted your life.

Also Quinn and Tarek were just fantastic together.

Overall this book was great, but I didn't fully connect with any of the characters.
