Tainted Black

Ugh. I wanted to like this one, and I did to an extent.
I can't say that I wasn't warned but the ending really pissed me off. Realistic fiction is fine and all, especially when there is a forbidden aspect to it, but a HEA means one thing in my book and this one was just not that at all. I understand why some may see it as a HEA but it just wasn't.
I was also spoiled for the ending... sooo... there's that. The sex was great and the premise was great but after I was spoiled and realizing the direction the book was turning, I just got really pissed off.
I wanted to like this one more than I actually ended up liking. Oh well... On to the next.
