I am so glad this method works for some people. I have friends it worked beautifully for.
It did not work for us, and that's fine! we're figuring it out. What wasn't so fine was the complete lack of assistance if something didn't go according to plan. The authors input was 'you did it wrong, do better'.
On top of a stressful experience, was a lot of guilt brought on by this book, and a barrier to getting my daughter what she needed - which was honestly a break.
I think the theories and practice here is sound, but some Plan B's, C's and alternate approaches without condesension would have helped.
