Honestly this book was overall super disappointing when compared with the previous books. I love the plot. It’s incredible. Love the characters.  Except for willow, she’s basically useless. But i HATE the million povs from characters that are history, i HATE the lack of explanation given with them - we’re just thrust into it despite it being a totally new format to the book and have to figure out wtf is happening - i HAAAAAATE herric and zerra and not bc they’re bad but bc they’re boring, i HATE hate HATE ‘lightning bug’ and the complete character shift nadir has once they’re finally together, i hate that i read the first book in less than 24hrs and this took me ten DAYS of forcing myself to pick this book up so i could finish it before it was due again. Just a really big disappointment.
