4.5. I will officially buy any book this author releases! This book was so bloody good!
Jane is very strong, sassy, violent and fiery. She’s also protective and caring to those she cares about. She has her own complex issues in which we see her crave love but she has serious trust issues and doesn’t open up to people. I seriously understood her and loved her.
Soren is everything I love about morally gray men. He does a lot of questionable shit, he’s violent and he’s known for being a killer. He is also possessive and hot af but underneath all of that he is also gentle and sweet just for Jane.
The chemistry, banter and tension between these two was to die for. I loved their relationship development and the smut was so good without overshadowing their emotional connection.
I don’t really understand how the magic works but I’m intrigued to learn more!
I can’t wait for the next book!
