I don’t really know what to say about this one.
It wasn’t what I expected, that’s for sure and I flew through it. It was definitely an easy read and I do like the world Armentrout has been giving with this book so far. It’s intriguing.
The plot wasn’t surprising to me and I can’t stand Hawke with his semi smart and supposedly “sexy” remarks. I did find Poppy to be somewhat likeable, although she isn’t the brightest star, even though it is implied she should be.
I am curious to what will happen in the next book. I do hope that the sex scenes will be written better since I know they will be present. I didn’t think they added to the story, but I know that they did for others.
