A solid YA novel, this book follows Pippa as she completes a murder investigation for her senior project. The twist at the end is unexpected but Pip makes some very dumb choices to get to the unveiling of the murderer. Some bits of the story are unbelievable — particularly the interviews Pip holds with potential suspects where she does everything but outright ask if they murdered Andie. If they were the murderer, what makes Pip think they wouldn’t hurt her too? Hard to tell. Maybe that’s just teenage invincibility? Either way, this book was fun and fast-paced and I couldn’t help but love the characters even when they were making dumb choices.
