I really thought I was going to love this book a lot more than I did. It might’ve been the fact that the entire thing was spoiled for me but it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Claire and Gibsie were some of my favorite characters and I’ve been waiting for their book since Binding 13, but this was kind of a let down. I feel like finally being inside these characters heads ruined them for me. And I get that that’s the point, they seem perfect but there is more going on inside their heads, but I feel like it was just executed poorly and made me kind of dislike these two a bit more than I used to. That being said, I DO still love them and this book was still really good. I am very upset however at how short this book is, especially compared to the other books in the series. It feels like it just ends abruptly when there easily could’ve(and in my opinion should’ve) been at least 100 more pages to give an actually conclusive ending that wasn’t so rushed.
Graphic: Rape, Suicide, Violence
