The Haunting of Sunshine House
by Dominika Best
There was a lot going on in this book. There were too many plot lines, character povs, and time swaps. It made the story muddy. I wish the author would have picked one plot (police procedural, medium who talks to ghosts, or nazi’s) and really developed the characters. It would have given the book more depth and made it better than just tolerable. I really dove into this wanting to like it. I don’t typically read a synopsis before diving in, so I was disappointed that it had less to do with an actual haunting.
