The Lady in the Coppergate Tower by Nancy Campbell Allen

5.0

I enjoyed this one more than the second one (this is the third book in the series), and probably as much (or almost as much) as the first. I got quite invested in the story. It drives me a little bit crazy when characters keep denying that the other person could ever possibly have feelings for them when it is so glaringly obvious that they do, but so go romance stories.

Overall, I thought this was a very good read. It’s quite clean—only a few kisses, even. There is definitely some adventure and creepiness/violence, but nothing that I felt crossed the line. I felt like Hazel, the main character, had a different personality than was briefly presented in the 1st book, but it lined up with her brief appearance in the 2nd book. I prefer this Hazel to the Hazel of my initial impression from book 1.
