Impostor Syndrome by Mishell Baker

Hoo boy, what a ride. A tidy (ish?) plot, with such authentically messy characters and problems. This is a well-concluded trilogy, and I thought the last chapter was just beautiful. I don't know that the worldbuilding she set up in Borderline could have supported any more books even if she'd wanted to write them, but the characters certainly could have. They've learned things, they've made progress, but they've still got a lot to deal with and that feels right and real.
I see on the author's website she's "retired from novel writing," and I certainly respect that. But if she ever starts another series, I would pick it up in a heartbeat.
