Easily the best novel I’ve read all year. Firstly, the plot twist of Sedotia being Relucia??? His adoptive mom???? And then at the end where you you realize he’s been cloned and was writing the message to himself! His arm rotted off and was amputated bc his original arm fell off when he entered!!!! I had a feeling Caeror was either alive somehow or was one of the eyeless bodies in the dome. So I wasn’t shocked he was alive but CALLIDUS’S DEATH RUINED ME. I was so hoping it wasn’t going to happen even though I was adamant it was just bc of his original views of the Iudicum and the hidden murders. I know they used aequa to further plot there but I still wish Eidhin was there. Interested to see what Elissa saw and why she tried to kill Vis. Incredible book no notes.
