Hot Flashes and Hockey Slashes by Sylvie Stewart, Marika Ray

emotional funny hopeful

I am in love the adult romance genre with the mature characters that are relatable. Roman LaFontaine was a dreamy aging hockey player and Olivia Wylder was a frazzled business woman and single Mom.

This book was sweet and often funny and hard to put down at times. There was even plenty of discussion about aging and how our body’s changes throughout the book.

While the premise was a little far fetched, it was at least plausible. This book is great for those who believe in whirlwind romances.
