I'm not surprised this was THE book of summer 2024 -- it's two mysteries at once (are they connected?), with plenty of twists, a relatable setting (summer camp!), terrific characters, terrible villains, and basically just everything you want in a satisfying summer read.

If you're looking for a long novel to sink into for a few days, this is it.
