I don't know this book lost me somewhere in the 3rd half. It had potential but I have no idea what it was trying to be. The idea is it's like a historical world war romance but with fantasy elements. But for most part it was a historical war romance with a bit of magical realism aka the type writer.
There should have been more from the gods and their pov because it was just luke warm and for raging gods they didn't really ended up doing much ngl. Like the wrath where at? And for the main element of surprise the gods had to rely on humans to deliver the plot twist what even??
The ending plot twist was weird over all in the end I was pretty eh about it.
Because the start was very nice the atmosphere, the historical vibes but even by the end the romance felt very forced and love at first sight ya yada yada.
