What an interesting read... the writing style really did it for me and by and large was the best part of this book. It was haunting and enchanting and sucked me in despite how weird things were getting. The plot was a little slow to start and didn't really hook me until at least halfway through, but even then it was a bit of a weak hook. I don't think I'm enough of a Shakespeare fan to really love it. But I really liked what Awad was going for, and of course I loved the messaging around chronic pain and how people so often minimalize or disbelieve it.
