✦Never Been Shipped is a standalone but John is familiar to readers of With Love, from Cold World. I was completely charmed by him and his story with Micah. This is exactly the kind of friends to lovers, second chance, YEARS of pining and unrequited crushing that makes my blood hum. Add the forced proximity of a themed cruise, one heck of a redemption arc, and grand gesture to deliver an absolute banger!

✦I connected with John and Micah; they are reflective, insightful, and wrapped up in so many layers of memories and feelings that I couldn’t help falling for their achingly hopeful story. Fun, flirty, and quick-witted banter made me devour this! They both change and grow but Micah comes to view her dynamic with the band and her relationship with music differently, healing past hurts.
