I wanted to love this book, I really did.  But it opened up with no-emotions sex, which isn't something I love, and while there was a lot of drama around the main character and her friends I didn't really feel her care for them.  She said she cared about them and she died for them, but there was no emotion in the writing that made me care about them.  It also jumped around a lot.
