What a beautifully written and emotional book, about two sisters living in Occupied France and partaking in the resistance. Of course I cried, and I had to keep taking little breaks when reading because it was so emotional. I know so little about the occupation of France, and I didn’t realise how harrowing it must have been. A five-star read and would recommend to everyone.
