Starting my year of reading on something a little different and a whole lot naughtier. And a note to those on their high horse disdaining upon someone reading this kind of what you will deem smut, at least I'm not trying to pretend to be jumping on the 50 shades bandwagon because of the whole "it seems to be a good read despite the smut" bullshit. Bitch please, 50 shades ain't got nothing on this read.
It was hot, it was intense, at times a little disturbing, but surprisingly a whole lot of fun. Yes, there was a whole lot of sex, role play, bondage, humiliation, a couple of gang bangs and so on, but it was all in good fun. And most all, it felt real. Besides all of that, it was also about the love and trust between Kyle and Dan. Kyle knowing that Dan will always take care of him, controlling the scenes and taking his limits into consideration and he loves Dan for that. And Dan for indulging and catering to Kyle's imagination, kinks and fantasies because it makes him feel good knowing he did a good job, and knowing that at the end of the day, he is the only one Kyle loves wholeheartedly. The progression of their relationship escalates as their scenes get more intense. I'm not going to lie, the romance bit wasn't much, but it definitely was there.
Kudos to the writers, for all the wicked ideas. How two ladies can come up with such wonderfully delicious filth, I will never know. Maybe they did their research thoroughly, but most certainly it speaks of their wicked imagination and great writing skills to be able to make it this good and yummy.
