Recently unemployed actress Emma opts to hide away at a remote estate while she licks her wounds. While there she meets Lucian, a forced-to-retire hockey player turned chef/patisserie. Each are healing from their own emotional wounds as they try to deny their budding attractions. Lucian’s meddling French grandmother (who owns the estate) has chosen to help them along. But, can they overcome the major changes in their respective lives and be happy, or will their pursuits tear them apart?
