Read this if you like…
- speculative fiction
- murder mystery
- perceptual science
- dual POVs
Themes at play…
- looking for proof of reincarnation
- a mother’s love
- being at your wits’ end
It's an interesting story, to be sure, but at times the narrative reads more like non-fiction…which wasn’t all bad…but the POV of the mother was infinitely more engaging than that of the professor. I feel like this should have hit deeper than it did…but that’s not to say that I didn’t like it, not at all...the subject matter was captivating and I enjoyed the mystery of it.
