"WICKED is good" man this is the book the kill order should have been. This book actually dropped without my knowledge and my sister bought it for me during Christmas one year. I dreaded reading this book at first as the kill order is by far one of the most disappointing books I have ever read and much to my surprise, this might be my favorite book in the entire series. This book was needed to explain the origins of what WICKED is trying to accomplish, their values, and what their beliefs are. It also explains who Teresa and Thomas were before the maze. This book does just that while making WICKED look much worse than they actually are in the original trilogy.

Three quotes from this book really sum it up "We can't let fear control us", "Fear is a powerful tool, but it shouldn't control us", and "The greatest enemies are often those closest to us".

Read the original trilogy before this book as it takes away from a lot of mystery that was in those books. Skip the kill order and read this book, it is an absolute gem that I read in two days due to how good it was.

P.s. Always remember "WICKED is good".
