overall, i really enjoyed The Beckoning Shadow. extremely underrated.

the relationship between Sam and Vesper was sort of frustrating at times, probably due to Elisa’s past involvement, but i loved those two so much and was happy that there were a lot of moments between them for a non romance ya book.
