You will have to pry the end of the Rust Canyon series from my cold, non-breathing hands. I am NOT ready to let it go!!!
But when I tell you that Before You Can Blink was the absolute best way to wrap up this series, I mean it! I was intrigued by the all male POV. I have yet to read a romance that was singular POV that I can remember. Having Jett spill his version of he and Daisy's love story? swoon
You do not have to read the rest of the Rust Canyon books for this one to make sense. However, this book fleshes out all of the others and ties them together with a pretty ribbon. However, that ribbon comes with some tears at the end - so keep those Kleenex's handy! This is a HEA with NO THIRD ACT BREAKUP, so don't let that deter you.
Can we also talk about the maturity that Jett has? We meet him at 21 when he doesn't have a care in the world beyond the rodeo circuit. Love has a funny way of making people grow up and really look at what they value most.
So who should read this? So glad you asked! E V E R Y O N E. But in all seriousness, check it, and the rest of the series, out if you want
-Cowboy
-Plus size FMC
-Small town
-Toys as besties
-MMC point of view only
-heavy on the found family aspect
In the best way possible - this book gave me an amazing hangover that I will be searching the world over for the cure.
