This was a fun read simply for its wholesomeness. The plot is completely different from the TV show, but is similar to the story of Elizabeth's aunt Elizabeth in the movie. Elizabeth moves to the Canadian West to become a teacher in a small town. She grows attached to the children, has some adventures, and
Spoilerhas a mountie fall in love with her. She is disgusted at first because she thinks this man is married, but when she finds out his "wife" is really his sister, she falls in love with him too, and they live happily ever after.
