Taylor Jenkins Reid is simply an amazing storyteller. Last year I read, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (my first TJR read) & it quickly became my favorite book of all time (still is) & I was a bit worried to read other books written by Reid because I now had such high expectations.

This book did not disappoint. Tbh, I didn’t know much about it before reading it. I just knew it was supposed to be a summer read & it was by TJR. This book was beautifully written. I wasn’t annotating this book because I took it on a beach trip, but I may have to reread it to highlight all of the beautiful quotes & passages that really stuck out to me.

I think you’d should read this book: to get out of a reading slump, beach read, love your family (blood or not), want something with a bit of emotion, or you love Taylor Jenkins Reid
